A little of everything is better than a whole heap o' nothin'

So in the absence of me making regular posts as of late (reasons to be explained) this post should outline pretty much everything that is happening in my life right now. It will be disappointingly short to accomplish such a task.

Read on after this picture of Chewbacca dog:

5 Under-rated Songs by Well-known Bands

I'm not wanting to overshadow the recent success of my associate, but I haven't posted here in a while and feel I should probably start to get some kind of semi-regular update schedule, or something to that effect. Today I feel like posting something about another topic of great interest to me - music. However, lacking anything substantial to say right now (I would love to talk about my band but I should have something more to say about that soon) I chose to default to a list. Because everyone likes lists.

Warning: I tend to get quite into it when I talk about music I like, so be prepared for potentially tl;dr inducing descriptions as to why all these tracks are awesome.

Being very passionate about music I have a pretty wide taste in it and I'm open to pretty much anything on the one condition that I find it to be genuinely musically good in its own way. My music library has everything from rock to rap to ska to electro to jazz, and many seemingly bizarre fusions such as the country/gospel/acid house stylings of the Alabama 3 - but that's a story for another day. Naturally some of these artists are on the twenty feet underground in a sealed, dark nuclear bunker in the desert side of obscure, but it would be completely untrue to say there aren't plenty of popular artists, both new and old whom I love. Although many don't, many artists and bands do get famous for good reasons.

Quick Thought from Kongming: Stuff that's out!

It's like some kind of mind-blowing newsy post!

Except none of it is particularly news - just stuff that's caught my attention and/or stuff I'm particularly interested in. Also a couple of downloads for you lucky people ;)

Top (2)5: Most Played on iTunes

I guess this post can be considered as a bit of a stop-gap, but whilst I'm still finding my feet on this here blog I'm trying to get a few posts up that may be worth a look. The reason I think this might be a vaguely interesting experience is because I have a ridiculously eclectic taste in music and this is reflected in the list, as one might expect. There's also some relatively obscure stuff on here which I, evidently, think is worth giving a listen to.

As a wise man once said, "Frankly, I find music journalism unbelievably tedious – of anything it reminds me more of wine reviews than a media reviews and I can’t fucking stand wine reviews. “Blah blah, hint of summer mildew, and almonds and car exhaust blah blah.” It’s just people saying words." As such I'm not going to try and critique the songs so much as try and give you a taste of them to see if you actually want to spend your time listening.

So without further ado - from Billy Joel to Perfume; from Rise Against to Beirut - I present to ye my Top 25 Most Played on iTunes. This is going to be a long page....
